And Philip Glass will write the music?
wow!! neutron star wild dance !!
1:44 Looks like a specific magnetic field lines around a bar magnet
Still cant prove god doesn't exist… God: 1 Atheism: 0
where is the gravitational blast ?
So… once you go black, you never go back, right?
mmmm, i found this event more violent http://youtu.be/8-NHfLTJ4Gc?t=6m47s
fix your description nasa youtube guy, you copypasted one paragraph twice
Thanks for posting this. Beautiful but not really informative clip. The Philip Glass-like music is great.
This is badass.
What tune is this?
OH CRAP OH CRAP GOKU JUST BEAT THE LIVING CRAP OUT OF CHAPOO HOLY SHAT
No War No Racist No Beggarout there
but God ?
What's the song?
Do someone know which music is used in this video ?
BEHOLD! SAURON 2.0
Who composed the music?!!!!!!
YouTube should have a kind of test to pass before you are allowed to comment on this video. The amount of dumbshits who are posting comments is staggering
this would be pretty amazing….. if it was 1982
Who did the music, what's the name of that piece?
Thumb up for good music.
Нейтронные звёзды не могут столкнуться. На видео показано поглощение обычной звезды нейтронной звездой. И чёрная дыра от этого не образовывается…
I wanted to ask how long does this take, then read this simulation only covers 20 miliseconds, that's freaking scary. Oh look two stars… OH GOD!
Ok guys. I get it. I love Dragon Ball too… but… don't.
I love hearsay and most of all….Presumption.
Nice modelling. On the way to reproduce gamma burst radiation prints. There is all the problems of mesoscopic level modelling as I understand it, right?
only 20 milliseconds! the forces involved are phenomenal, to say the least!
The ammount of energy involved in such an event is mind boggling!
very interesting simulation … I wonder what data they used to come up with the simulation
What is the song?????
Can you say to me what music is that? The name?
What's the name of this musical track? I'm loving it!
you would think it would get bigger.. but here you go
Over-eager homosexual pairing. With predictably tragic consequences. Into the Black Hole!
I thought Neutron stars were blue.
The Dance of Death that ends in a new creation…truly awesome! Thanks.
Favorece la comprensión para quienes no son especializados en estas disciplinas.
Has it ever occurred to anybody that neutron stars and black holes constitute 5th and 6th states of matter? They are made of matter but neither one behaves like the matter we know of, and we know they don't exist in a state like other 4 known categories of matter. These states should be listed as plasma, gas, liquid, solid, nuclear and singular. I think it's a fair observation that's not really acknowledged as it should be.
I'm skeptical as to whether this really required a "supercomputer" to simulate. I don't know everything that went into it, but it seems simple enough to render on any modern computer to me…
J'ai aimée la vidéo la musique ne comprennent que le Français elle m'a bien plus Francoise
what a load of crap…….. do you really expect us to believe this nonsense…

You forgot to mention that spin speed of both suns are equal to speed of light.
Here is an interesting question. How small would you have to compress earth to make a neutron star versus making a black hole? In Scientific words, What would be the Schwartzchild radius of earth compared to the radius earth would have to be to make it a neutron star?
Both neutron stars and black holes are formed from a supernova and both have an exceptional gravitational effect. Obviously black holes are more compact because light can't even escape (hence the word "black hole") but a neutron star can be very bright.
Why the new Black Hole has a halo? it's all neotrons, they should all attract each other or fall to the black hole I think.
Maybe Black holes are just bigger neutron stars with neutrons tighter together by the extra gravity, if so maybe Black Holes can't grow forever, maybe at some point the stress will be too much and the matter that forms the black hole simply will transform in pure energy and generate a gigantic explosion ripping apart a galaxy.
Where is the real stuff?
Funny title. Tranlated into reality It says: Two things that doesnt exist ripped apart by another thing that doesnt exist.
I doubt it would be symetric.
This video is full of religious nonsense.I can't believe that NASA sacrifices science to pander to the religious masses.
Beatiful and awesome
You know how we have so many dark places in the universe well what if when the Big Bang happens there was light every were but then black holes formed and ate moste of the light black holes are faster than the speed of light so yah my theory a bought black holes
this is beautiful
Black holes and human caused global warming only exist in the NASA scientists fantasy world, religious VOMIT. Remove your heads from your computer model's ass and the tax payers purse. Total bull crap.
All Fake, no deep Space, NASA lie's!Skydome is 2D!Wake upFLAT EARTH DOME
Why would it shred itself?
okaaaay!! you know what, starving children in Africa could have eaten those star. so help them before the end of us. seriously, those star is our source for life.
Looks more like one of the neutron stars is ripping the other, but that backfires and the former gets torn apart too.
Wow so that's how black holes are formed
who decided the weight of these stars???
Should I expect more from NASA. That was ummmmmm…….
Wow … that's an elaborate CGI. Wonder what that cost us.
REAL POWER is univers…love hubble…love VLT Chile…ISS Nasa…My god is NASA,Gates-windows,Android, Holy Eye -the Hubble,…
Wow! That simulation was like some kind of acid trip!Very cool video.
pity about the music,,,,samething with more vibration better
why do both of them look like testicles
When the tidal force rips the neutron star apart shouldn't the neutronium rebound (if thats the righ word) to normal matter as the electron degenercy force causes the neutrons to decay? Somthing like a super nova as the center gravity is torn away from the smaller neutron star?
this entire event happens in 20 milliseconds. Imagine the energy released!
Incredible forces out in the Cosmos!!!
If a neutron star is 27 kilometers wideAnd they collided to form a black hole smaller than themSo they formed a black hole as huge as the white houseSo that black hole lasted 27 minutes before dying and releasing massWHY DIDNT YOU STUDY IT BEFORE IT DIED AND EJECTED THE MASSFUUUU
Thank you NASA, Thank you Germany, this is the best video I 've seen so far on this subject, please give me more if you can, peace and love, Doug.
I'm so happy I don't have to travel in space near colliding black holes and get to listen to this horrendous music in my spacecraft! Can't black holes be muted?
Are those subatomic particles?
When a Quasar is formed the energy involved exceeds the Thermodynamically controlled layer we call a Dimension punching a hole in it or Blackhole. Its what lives in that dimension that created the universe… Antihydrogen fusion , Antihelium and Liquid Oxygen. This energy lives in the magnetic field lines of the universe producing light or what we call Dark Energy. Its shelf life ends at planets like earth producing Atmospheric Sprites. The Terrestrial Gamma Rays from the antimatter release is what NASA Fermi and Italian Space Agency PAMELA satellights detected and measured . This same energy producing Gamma Rays for Blackholes that created the universe "Dark Matter" is released above our thunderstorms creating atmospheric Sprites.
man that is some insane computing power to track anywhere close to the number of relevant forces between individual particles and keep relativistic effects intact. what a time we live in
Menuda basura de simulación, que decepción.
Thank you NASA Family that is beautiful, peace and love, Doug:)<3.
From Producer Scott Wiessinger: "The music is “Approaching Eclipse” by Oliver Ledbury. It’s from the stock music site Killer Tracks. https://www.killertracks.com/#!/browse/browsed-results.aspx?SelectedCDId=986 "
Ok NASA , enough I want to sleep
from light to darkness
This thing looks amazing. Umm yeah it's like you have a model why stop here. Could you make this (render) in say unreal engine .. just for kicks.. 🙂 please
Pretty sure the sound when both stars collided was WHOOOP
